Real World Bleeding (w/ Stop The Bleed)
This is a focused, hands-on 3-hour block of instruction drawn directly from the nationally recognized Real World Trauma curriculum and built around the realities of preventable death from uncontrolled hemorrhage. This course emphasizes simple, proven interventions that work under stress—without gimmicks or unrealistic assumptions. This course is taught by veteran Paramedic and national instructor Jonathan Willis.
Students will receive practical, instructor-guided training in:
Tourniquet selection, placement, and application (with repetitions)
Wound packing for junctional and deep bleeding (hands-on)
Pressure bandaging and wound dressing techniques that hold under movement and time
Instruction is grounded in real incidents, field experience, and evidence-based trauma care, with a strong emphasis on decision-making, prioritization, and speed.
Upon completion, every student will receive the nationally recognized Stop The Bleed® Certificate, validating their training in life-saving hemorrhage control.
Trauma kits will be available for purchase at special club pricing for course attendees, allowing students to leave with properly selected, real-world equipment to support what they’ve learned.
This course is ideal for prepared citizens, instructors, parents, folks who go outside, folks who stay inside, and anyone serious about being useful when bleeding is the problem and time is the enemy.
